| You don't have to go past Cougal Park to experience some of
the most spectacular views and extraordinary flora and fauna that
Australia has to offer. Cougal Park consists of 135.5 hectares ranging in
elevation from 200m to 600m above sea level, with a 1.7km boundary to the
Border Ranges National Park. Many old logging tracks crisscross the property, making for an enjoyable pastime for those who have the time to walk or bird watch. Native birds abound. The chorus of Bell Birds, Whip Birds and Wrens is a constant compaion. Bower birds, King Parrots, Crimson Rosellas and many more are always present making Cougal Park a bird watchers paradise. Some of our favourite mates are the Red Necked Wallabies that graze around the house and gardens.
