The Djembe (pronounced gem-bay) is traditionally from the West
Coast of Africa, Ivory Coast, Mali and Guinea. It has become popular
because of it's wide variation of sound and now forms an important part of
the percussion section in many bands. Eco Drums shells are made from
Camphor Laurel with the heads made from Goat Skin or on request Kangaroo
skin. The Djembe is available in 5 sizes - 23cm, 25cm, 28cm, 30cm or 33cm.

Bougarabou
The Bougarabou drum is a cross between a Djembe and a Conga.
The sound of the drum is mellow having a woody bass note with higher tones
on the edge. The shells are turned from Camphor Laurel with the skin made
