Workshops Cliff and Kerrie conduct fun filled workshops either in Kyogle or in the place of your choice and have conducted workshops at Festivals and in Sydney and Melbourne. Workshops take two days with a return visit for tightening of the drums and everyone attending leaves with a completed drum of their choice plus the basic rudiments in playing their instrument. All participants are provided with a shell, metal rings, rope and skin and are taught how to put together and maintain their own instrument. Workshop cost, dates and location are set upon application and are dependant upon the size of the class and distance travelled. Please Email or Phone Eco Drums to find out pricing and availability. No traditional music skills are necessary to play a drum. Hand drumming encourages co-ordination, discipline and confidence. Drumming is an excellent therapy for people with Attention Deficent Disorder, learning difficulties and is used therapeutically for medication. Emphasis should be placed on the quality of sound rather than the quantity. |
