TURKEYS VS CASINO COUGARS  - FRIDAY 17TH MAY

UNDER 18's
The Kyogle under 18'had a great win against the Casino Cougars they played some great football the final score was 34- 14 the best for the  turkeys were; Sam Daley,Steve Hayes, Luke Doohan, Mitchell O'neill.

RESERVE GRADE
T he Kyogle reserve grade side played some great rugby league they lost to the Casino Cougars 18-16 the best for the turkeys  were; Jay Newton, Luke Daley, Josh Foley

FIRST GRADE 
The Kyogle turkeys went down to the Casino Cougars 34-4 the best for the turkeys were; Daniel Ellis, Bruce Murray, Spencer Bryant.

 

TURKEYS VS MARIST BROTHERS - SUNDAY 12TH MAY
 
UNDER 18 's
The Kyogle Turkeys went down to the Marist Brothers Rams 42-12.  The best for the Turkeys were; Joe Painter Clyde Hickling
 
RESERVE GRADE
The Kyogle Turkeys went down to the Marist Brothers Rams 52-6. The best for the turkeys were; Daniel Ellis, Jay Newton, Matt Duley.
 
FIRST  GRADE
The Kyogle Turkeys went down to the Marist Brothers Rams 80-6 the best for the Turkeys were; James Williams, Andrew Mason and Spencer Bryant

TURKEYS VS GRAFTON GHOSTS - SUNDAY 5TH MAY

UNDER 18'S
The Kyogle turkeys played some good rugby league but were beaten by the Grafton Ghosts the final score was 30-16 the best for the turkeys were; Steven Hayes,Adam Nicholson,Kurt Reeves,Luke Doohan.
 
RESERVE GRADE
The Kyogle Turkeys played some great football against the Grafton Ghosts the turkeys put in a huge effort  but lost to the Ghosts the final score was 18-16 the best for the turkeys were; Jay Newton, Brad Bunya,Josh Foley, Matt Duley.Wayne Dunn.
 
FIRST GRADE
The Grafton ghosts got away to a 20-0 lead but then the turkeys got on  the come back trail through
Kyogle lock Spencer Bryant and then the trys kept on coming the half time score was 20-16 too the grafton ghosts but after half time the grafton ghosts came out firing  and won the match 50-16 the best for the turkeys were;Andrew Mason, Dave Mulcahy, Gabe Boota, Spencer Bryant and Courtney Nagas.   
TURKEYS VS LOWER CLARENCE - SUNDAY 28TH APRIL

UNDER 18's
 The turkeys got off to a flying start attacking the oppositions line with the two front rowers leading the way. The first half the turkeys played exceptionally well but again the fitness let the
boys down after the  half time lead the lower boys fought back to for the win
the final score was 24-12 the best for the turkeys was; Brenton Bailey, Steve Hayes, Kurt Reeves, Joe Painter.
 
RESERVE GRADE
 The Kyogle turkeys went down to the lower clarence magpies the final score was 54-6 the best for  the turkeys wasWayne dunn, Johnno Crowther,  Joe Allen.
 
FIRST GRADE
 The Kyogle turkeys went down to the lower clarence magpies at the Maclean showground the final score finished up 74-4 the best for the turkeys was Spencer Bryant  and Dave Mulcahy.   
We   have  3 new coaches this year for the under 18's its  Johnny O'reilly and Bill Mcbride
For Reserve grade the new coach is Mitch Carter i'm sure they all will do a great job  for the turkeys in season 2002.
 
The Kyogle Reserve grade side will be playing against former South Queensland and South Sydney player and Guest of the footy show Mario Fenech. Mario will be putting on the jumper for the Lower Clearance Magpies Reserve grade side at lower clearance this Sunday.
TURKEYS VS THE RED DEVILS - SUNDAY 21ST OF APRIL 
 
RESERVE GRADE
The Kyogle Turkeys played some good football against the Byron Bay red devils. The Kyogle Turkeys came out winners with the final score being  36-20. The best for the turkeys were; Brad Green, Josh Foley, Scott Lavelle, Brett Slater,
 
FIRST GRADE
The Kyogle turkeys played some good football but just not good enough to beat the Byron Bay red devils. The red devils won the  game 26-18. The best for the turkeys were; Jay Newton, Andrew Mason, Daniel Ellis, Dave Mulcahy, Brad Bunya, and James Williams.
Next week the Kyogle turkeys face the Lower Clarence Magpies. 

TURKEYS VS THE LISMORE WORKERS - Sunday 14th April 2002

UNDER 18'S
The Kyogle turkey's played good football but just not good enough to beat the Lismore workers tigers  the turkeys going down 28-26 the best for the under 18's  were; Leon Close, Brenton Bailey, Luke Doohan, Steve Hayes.
 
RESERVE GRADE
The Kyogle reserve grade side played very good against the Lismore workers tigers but the turkeys went down to the giants the final score was 38-20the best for the turkeys were; Daniel Ellis, Mick Hogan, Anthony Murray, Luke Daley.
 
FIRST GRADE
The Kyogle Turkeys played some good football the turkeys went down to the tigers 56-18 the best for the turkeys were; Kevin Walker, Dave Mulcahy, James Williams, Brad Bunya.

The Kyogle turkeys went down to the Mullumbimby Giants 38-6 the turkeys  played well Kyogle's key players were; Joel Murray, Todd Newton, 

RESERVE  GRADE
The Kyogle turkeys went down to the Giants 32-6 but Kyogle played good football Kyogle's key players were; Mick Hogan, Brett Slater, Jay Newton, Luke Daley.

FIRST GRADE
The Kyogle Turkeys played excellent football but went down to the Mullumbimby Giants Kyogle's the final score was 30-16   key players were; Andrew Mason, Dave Mulcahy, Spencer Bryant, Scott Lavelle, and Kevin Walker. The Kyogle turkeys play the Lismore Workers Tigers next sunday.

I would like to say congratulations to Kurt Reeves, Sam Daley and Steven Hayes on making the under 18's group team which will be coached by former Marist Brothers and Gold Coast chargers player Tony Durheim.

Kyogle's new star recruit is the brilliant Andrew mason, Andrew played for North Bundaberg last year Andrew can play five eighth or lock. Kyogle's other star recruits are Bruce Murray who played for the turkeys 12 months ago and Brad Bunyan who also played for the turkeys from the 2001 season. Under 18's is Spencer Bryant, Ben Mulcahy and Gabriel Boota who will all be big on impact for for the turkeys in 2002.

The turkey's  have got new jumpers for the 2002 season they have got  the traditional v stripe.
